If you are preparing for AILET PG entrance for law, it is time to start preparing for the same. If you are aspiring your PG from one of the elite NLU’s then apart from NLU’s under CLAT another major NLU is NLU Delhi, located in the capital city this NLU. In addition to academic advantage, it has lot of other advantage.

NLU Delhi offer One year LL.M course in different specializations. As per the 2019 curriculum specializations are in Constitutional Law and Human Rights. So anyone is looking up for these specializations, NLU Delhi would end up as one of the best option.

AILET PG Mode of Examination: Offline, Duration: 2 hours.

Total marks -150

Type of question paper: Objective, earlier it was objective and subjective both; but from 2019, it is made only objective.

AILET PG 2019 Cut off – around 72.

Constitution:  Any Bare Act: P.M.Bakshi or Universal’s, then stick to one book which ever you are comfortable reading with either J.N.Pandey, V.N,Shukla or Mamta Rao or whichever is suggested while law school curriculum.

Keep updated you with all the legal development especially case laws.

Jurisprudence: Material like, Decoding the Jurisprudence Book is really helpful to get all the sayings, objectives at one place, apart from it pick any one book for complete understanding. Recommended- B.N.Mani Tripathi and V.D.Mahajan

Contract Law: Major focuses Section 1-75, reading material book- R.K.Bangia

Tort Law: R.K.Bangia

Criminal Law: Bare acts and guide for cases

International Law:  recent current on goings and guides for LL.M. entrances

Additional Material: LL.M. entrance guides by A.K.Jain, Singhal Publication

AILET PG 2019 Division of Question subject question wise:

  • Indian Contract Act- 20 questions.
  • Constitutional Law – 15 questions.
  • Law of Torts – 12 questions.
  • Criminal Law including, Indian penal code and criminal procedure code- 63 questions.
  • International Law – 15 questions.
  • Jurisprudence – 25 questions.

Before starting your preparation analyze the syllabus of each entrance exam and pick specializations you have continue in and then start preparing accordingly.

As for PG entrance some subject are common in all the entrance, it is always advantage that one exam could be dealt with the preparation of another but still every exam has some subjects in unique which should be analyzed and prepared well as per the requirement of each exam.
