CLAT will be conducted twice for the first time in 2022. CLAT 2022 and CLAT 2023 are being conducted in the same year by the Consortium of NLUs. As a result, this will allow law students to sit for CLAT 2023 in the same year. It is also advantageous for CLAT repeaters because they will not have to skip the year. Furthermore, candidates will have time to prepare for CLAT 2023.
The date of CLAT 2023 has been announced, i.e., December 18, 2022. With only one month and 17 days left, aspirants are required to start being regular with their preparation if they desire to crack the examination in this attempt itself. It must be noted that the time available is neither too much nor too less. One can crack the examination by being regular and planning their preparation.
This blog will further discuss some tips and tricks in order to crack the CLAT exam and finish the preparation for the same.
The following tips could be used fully for effective preparation for CLAT 2023:
- Routine work and Planning: regularity and planning is a must if you wish to clear the exam in one go. Make a to-do list every day and follow a routine. You can make the routine as per your suitability.
- Reading habit: since the CLAT pattern is comprehensive, one must develop a reading habit. Fast reading practice is very important in order to finish the exam without missing any questions. You can start by reading newspapers, legal Articles, Judgments, etc. In order to practice reading, start with reading about topics which interest you.
- Note making: making notes out of what you study could be helpful during revision time. Writing in the perfect English language is not required for note-making. It is more beneficial to make notes in a language you are comfortable with. You can also use diagrams, flow charts, etc., for the same. The main purpose of note-making is to memorize what you have studied, and hence, they must be prepared in a way that suits you.
- Previous year question papers: going through the previous year’s question papers gives you a fair idea about the pattern of the exam and important topics which are to be covered in order to prepare effectively.
- Judgments of the previous year: one must go through all the important judgments of the previous year because the comprehensive questions are asked from the same.
- Attempting mocks: mocks help in boosting your confidence, and it also helps in determining the areas where improvement is required.
The above tips are surely helpful but are not exhaustive. They are recommended based on their experiences, but everyone has their own way of learning. Apart from following the above tips, it is suggested to adopt the ways which are best suited for you.
