AILET PG Exam Analysis 2023 for English:

In section A, English questions included fill-in-the-blanks, antonyms, and other types of questions. This portion had a moderate degree of difficulty! Comparatively speaking to the last two years, the English section’s difficulty was quite modest. If you are familiar with legal terminology, even if your English is not particularly strong, the questions were not too difficult. The following topics are covered in this section:

  1. Reading comprehension: 7 questions
  2. Phrases: 5 questions
  3. Antonyms: 6 questions
  4. Most Appropriate word: 7 questions

So, overall, 25 questions from this part. This portion was lengthy despite the questions’ medium level of difficulty. When preparing for the AILET PG, time management is of the utmost significance.

AILET PG Exam Analysis 2023 for Legal Reasoning:

Overall, five passages were given in the question paper and on the basis of the passage, you have to answer the legal reasoning type questions. The three passages were from the law, and the other two passages were not from the law. Since questions focused on acts rather than principles were not asked in this segment, the legal reasoning pattern was slightly different. There were inquiries about the Contract Act, the Transfer of Property Act, the law of torts, etc.

The first passage was from the Transfer of Property Act, 1882. Overall, the questions were not very difficult but easy to moderate. If your basics are straightforward, you can easily solve them. There were five questions from this passage, some directly from the passage and for some questions you have to know about the basic concepts of the act.

The second passage was from the concept of Merger and Acquisition (Chapter xv of the companies act, i.e., Section 230-240). There were five questions from this passage, and all the questions were straightforward. To answer these questions, you do not need special knowledge about the merger and acquisition; if you have basic knowledge about the merger and acquisition, you can quickly solve the questions. The passage requires only the presence of the mind.

The third passage was from the contract act, directly on the Contract of Guarantee (Section 126). Overall, five questions were from this passage. The level of questions from this passage was easy to moderate.

The rest two passages were not very much related to law. One among them was related to a general agreement in trade and commerce. The basic questions were from this passage. Another passage from the general concept, which was not related to the law, again has five questions from this passage. The passage was related to the law of tort, and the questions were not very difficult in nature; one can quickly solve the question with the knowledge of the basics.

After analyzing this portion of the question paper, we can say that the questions were not very difficult. Still, it maintains itself as easy to moderate with the basic concept the students can easily solve the questions. Hopefully, the cut-off will rise as compared to the last year.

Analysis of the AILET PG Exam 2023 for Subjective Answers:
